Shipping and Returns

Shipping - General Info

We currently accept orders shipping to the United States and U.S. territories through our website. If you'd like to ship to a destination outside the USA, please contact us to place an offline order, rent a GPS unit, or ask about the shipping status of your product.

In-stock orders ship within 1-3 business days. We do NOT ship partial orders. If one of your items is currently out of stock contact us directly if you need a partial order shipped.

We utilize USPS Priority, UPS (all services) and DHL depending on the type of order:

  • We prefer USPS Priority by default for rentals and sales due to delivery service 5-7 days a week and the high relaibility.
  • We use UPS as an alternative to USPS as they timely tracking and delivery information and overnight service.
  • We use DHL for international shipments. We have found their tracking and delivery to be excellent and timely with the fewest issues or delays.

Shipping - Outbound

When you place an order with us, we typically begin preparing your order within 72 hours. Once everything is packed, we create your shipping label and an auomated email goes out to the person specified in the PO, signed quote or online order. The couriers also request a phone number in case there are delivery issues.

All shipments require signature confirmation when delivered.

We cannot have equipment left unattended. PO Boxes and other locked mailbox delivery locations are acceptable. If you have no other choice and are willing to acept liability we can make arrangements for delivery w/o signature. Let us know.

Once your package(s) arrive:

  • Inspect for any damage and document (photos)
  • Carefully open package and inspect for any missing or damaged contents
  • Verify all parts are included against packing slip or invoice
  • Verify all parts are in good working order. This may include plugging in cables, AC adaprers, and powering up equipment, and applications.

Report to us immediately (within 24 hours) of any missing, damaged or non working parts to avoid unnecessary charges.

Returns

We will gladly accept any in-stock item you wish to return within 10 days of shipment.

All returned merchandise must be in original condition and packaging, and must include any accessories, warranty cards, instruction booklets and paperwork the item came with. Products that are returned to Loggerhead Navigation with a missing, damaged parts may be charged for the missing or damaged parts. Any product with altered serial numbers will be refused and returned.

All returns must receive authorization in advance. To request a return authorization, please contact us.

Some orders may ship with a prepaid return label. For all other orders, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the return back to us.

Returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds

Refunds are typically processed within 15 days of receiving your return. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card or payment statement.

In cases where we aren't able to refund to your original payment method, we will send a check or issue store credit to your online account. Store credit may be applied to future purchases from our website.
