Bad Elf Flex
The Bad Elf Flex Standard and Extreme are the latest in a fully-featured GNSS solution for CAD and GIS users. The flexibility of a Bad Elf Flex is amazing. Standard configuration is an L1 GNSS recevier, the powerhouse configuration, L1-L2-L5 GNSS is called the Extreme.
The Advantage of Bluetooth GNSS for all Platforms:
Because the Bad Elf FLex does not have a built-in computer, it cannot become obsolete. One project, connect it to your Android, iOS or Windows tablet, or keep it compact with a smartphone, or phablet.
Most mapping users needing 30cm. - 60cm. users will find everything they need in the Flex Standard, but for those needing high precision like utilities, or anything below 10cm. will want to condider the extreme model.
The Extreme is multi-frequency and multi-constellation enabled as well as RTK. With the right conditions and streaming RTK corrections over NTRIP, you can expct cm. level accuracy. And if you dont have RTK streaming corections, you can activate the Atlas decimeter correction service on a daily basis using the tokens, for $25/day.
Internal storage even allows for recording RAW data for later post processing if required. UAV users looking to establish GCP (Ground Control Points) love this feature.
More recently Bad Elf has come up with UHF radio soltuions to create a "traditional styled" Base-Rover set up for ease of broadcasting high precision corrections from a base on a local jobsite, eliminating the need for a streaming RTK corrections CORS base.
A Long Term Solution from a Single Purchase Investment:
The Bad Elf Flex maximizes your productivity and ROI (return on investment) because of its accessory or attachment to your Android or iOS device. Take it a step further and use the application of “your” choosing. The end-user is "back in control" of the application and workflow.
